Founded by Caroline Golum in 2017, Cinema Firmament is a small collective with big ambitions. With one microbudget feature film under our belt, we are currently at work on an expansive, elaborate follow-up. Needless to say, we like a challenge.

Julian of Norwich wrote “Revelations of Divine Love” in the midst of a global pandemic, a national uprising, and a societal shift in gender roles and norms. Our film borrows its title from her book and expands on her account with a narrative crafted from the historical record and speculative fiction.

Caroline Golum is a filmmaker, writer, and film programmer based in Brooklyn, NY. She holds a BFA in Film and Video production from the School of Visual Arts, class of 2010. When she is not working for the man, she is usually watching, writing about, or working on a movie.

Laurence Bond was born in southern California. From a young age he had the opportunity to travel and see the world which, upon reflection, must have been where his fascination with the past began.
Bond is an alumni of City University of New York, Brooklyn College and completed his BA in History with minors in Classics and Religious Studies. After Brooklyn College he completed his MA in Medieval and Renaissance Studies at Columbia University and wrote his thesis on the socio-religious environment that surrounded the anchoress Julian of Norwich in the fourteenth-century.
As a PhD candidate at Johns Hopkins University, Laurence is excited to delve into the archives in his pursuit of understanding the lives and motivations of medieval lay people who chose to live religious-style lives and exercise a rigorous spirituality from within their own communities. When he is not being a medieval historian, Laurence enjoys Latin poetry, dinner parties, and watching television with his cat.
Lyman Creason has been a producer of independent film for the past five years. After graduating from Connecticut College, he worked as an executive assistant on the series The Night Of, The Looming Tower and The OA, as well as the feature films Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, It’s Complicated, and Disconnect. He worked as an assistant to Steve Zailian, Gale Anne Hurd and James Marsh before producing his first feature film Split at the age of 26 in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
His recent feature Becks won the Fiction Award at the Los Angeles Festival before playing in theaters across the country. His most recent film Lucy in the Sky, starring Catherine Curtin and Kelly Hu, is finishing post production. This is his first collaboration with his good friend Caroline Golum.
Dylan Pasture has written and directed a handful of short films, in addition to his collaboration with Caroline Golum on A Feast of Man and El Sereno.
His award-winning short film, Cloudy All Day, is available for streaming on Sundance Now. Ready for Love, co-directed with actress Lauren McCune, had its world premiere at – and is currently streaming on – No Budge.
Pasture is currently developing a new feature project with Andrew Droz Palermo (Rich Hill, One and Two). He lives in Los Angeles.
